PRIVACY & DATA USE
What VVS Robotics stores, what stays on your device, and the choices you have.
Pre-launch policy draft · Updated September 14, 2026. This page describes the current site. Commercial services require finalized terms and a legal review before launch.
Who to contact
VVS Robotics is the name used for this site, developed by SimTech Labs. Contact info@vvsrobotics.com with privacy questions or use Privacy choices to submit a request. This pre-launch notice must be updated with the operating legal entity, mailing address and applicable regional details before commercial launch.
Information you choose to provide
Event and purchase requests store your name, email, selected services or products, event details, message, consent and submission time. Do not include payment-card details, sensitive personal information or another person’s contact information in these forms.
Newsletter requests store your email, consent version, time and subscription status. Email confirmation uses Resend when a verified sender is configured. Only confirmed subscribers are eligible for marketing; email preferences can stop future updates. Delivery records include recipient, message content, status and provider reference. Submitting an event or purchase enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Firebase Authentication handles Google and email sign-in and supplies a verified account identifier, name and email. We associate your saved moves, favorites, practice progress, avatar, creator listings and requests with that identifier. Editable handles and Steam/Xbox labels do not connect those platforms.
Camera and motion capture
Camera access begins only when you choose it and grant browser permission. The current body and hand tracking runs in your browser using locally served tracking resources. This site does not upload or retain your camera video or collect camera audio. Stopping capture, closing the camera tool or leaving it stops its camera tracks.
Saving a recorded move stores derived joint positions and timing in your signed-in VVS account, or on your device in guest mode, not a video recording. Publishing that move sends its joint motion data and listing information to the VVS server. Your pose motion may be distinctive; publish only material you have permission to share. We do not use this feature to identify people.
Device storage and service data
Signed-in profiles, moves, favorites and practice progress are stored in the hosted database. Uploaded account photos are stored in private object storage and are available only to your signed-in account. Guest progress and display preferences stay in your browser. Logging out removes access to the account; it does not delete cloud records. Privacy choices lets you clear device data or request account data access or deletion.
Forms and marketplace records are stored in the site’s hosted database. The hosting and security infrastructure processes network and request information to deliver the site. The app uses hourly hashed network or user identifiers for submission limits; it removes older limit records as new requests arrive. Infrastructure logs may have separate provider retention.
We have not added advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics. Browser preferences and Firebase sign-in/session functions are needed for the features you choose. Social links take you to external services only when you follow them.
Why information is used and shared
We use submissions to respond to requests, administer creator listings, honor privacy choices and reduce abuse. Authorized VVS staff can see submitted contact details. Hosting and infrastructure providers process data to operate the service. Resend processes email recipients and message content for confirmation and request notifications when configured. We do not sell form submissions or use them for cross-context behavioral advertising in this implementation.
A published listing exposes its creator display name, description, robot, price, testing claims and review status to people who can access the site. Free move files are downloadable. Paid motion files are withheld from other visitors until paid access is implemented. Sharing a URL does not override this site’s access permissions.
We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address abuse or protect rights. Any future payment or physical-robot service will need its providers and data practices disclosed before activation.
Retention and your choices
Submitted requests remain stored until VVS staff delete them; an automatic business-record retention schedule is not yet configured. Published and withdrawn listing records are retained for ownership, review and dispute handling until a deletion request is resolved. VVS should retain only what is necessary and establish a documented retention schedule before launch.
You may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw a listing, or unsubscribe using Privacy choices. We may need to verify ownership using information already associated with the record. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or dispute resolution. Existing downloaded move files and other people’s copies cannot be remotely erased.
Depending on where you live, additional data rights, objection rights or complaint routes may apply. Contact us to exercise them. We do not require a paid account to submit a privacy request.
Age and future changes
The current subscription, creator and commercial enquiry forms are for adults 18 and older. We are not launching accounts or data collection directed to children under 13 through these forms. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us for review and removal.
Youth programs and supervised events need a separate age-appropriate consent, privacy and participation process before launch; a checkbox alone does not establish compliance for a child-directed service. We will update this notice when actual services or data practices change.
